A big thank you to all our members, team supporters and volunteers who helped to present our club and grounds in such a positive way yesterday.

A special thanks to our army of volunteer stewards (most of whom got a soaking), to our groundsmen Timmy and Maurice, our Car Draw ticket sellers, Malachy selling Lotto tickets, those who got the clubhouse in order, John Keogh who was kept busy on the scoreboard, our young programme sellers and perhaps most of all the girls who were busy from early until late feeding the hungry masses.

Your work is deeply appreciated and and we were complimented by a huge amount of 'The Barrs' people who, while disappointed, were truly amazed at the level of genuine welcome and thankful for the hospitality they received here.

The final thank you is to our wonderful team and management who gave a performance that we will remember and be proud of for a long time to come.

In two weeks time we hit the road again. We haven't learned yet where the venue is but please be making plans to travel in big numbers to support our terrific team. "We are the Boys.........!)
