On Saturday 8th September next the Dr Crokes GAA Club host the 7th Annual Colm Cooper Tournament in Lewis Road.
This provides us with an opportunity to honour Colm one of our, and Kerry’s, greatest ever footballers. Add to this, the opportunity for the clubs Under 13 Boys to compete with boys from all over the country. This year we are delighted to host Bishopstown Cork, Donabate Dublin, Corofin Galway, Naomh Mairtin Louth, St Colmcilles Meath, Castlebar Mayo & Bantry Cork.
Teams will play in 2 groups with all teams playing in either a Cup or Plate Semi Final.
The Tournament Trophies & medals are kindly sponsored by the Coffey family in memory of Denis Coffey RIP a former player and club official of the club.
The organising committee are looking forward to another successful Tournament and issue an open invitation to everyone to come and support the players of the future, as well as paying tribute to Colm and his family.
Games commence at 11:40am and we hope to have the Tournament Final beginning at 5:40pm..
