Our U16 County League Division 1 campaign kicked off with a win against Killarney Legion last Wednesday evening in Direen.

Killarney Legion won the toss and played the first half with a strong wind to their backs. Both teams traded scores in a closely fought game with Killarney Legion edging the half on a scoreline of 6points to 5points.

Throughout the second half a more focused Dr.Crokes team gained the upperhand with a greater team effort. As expected it was an enjoyable and closely fought local derby with Dr. Crokes winning out on a scoreline of 14points to 10points.

This is a great start to the County League and well done to both the players and their mentors.
