Despite a battling performance , the concession of a few late goals in the second half was the difference in the end of this sporting and keenly contested game in Lewis Road tonight. Best for Dr Crokes on the night were: Gearoid Sugrue ,Adam Byrne and Dara Griffin in the backs. Oisin O Sullivan,Nathan Cronin ,Matthew Moynihan and Noah Sexton chipped with a few fine points. Mikie Murphy worked hard all night . Mark O Carroll made vital saves in goal and his brother Neil O Carroll was outstanding in Midfield with partner Leah Mc Mahon player of the match with two outstanding individual goals.. We wish Leah Mc Mahon all the best in the Gaynor Cup on Saturday.. The team had a really good county league campaign and were competitive in all the games.. We will take a short break and return mid July in preparation for U11 and U 12 East Kerry competitions
