After a cracking,keenly contested game in Moyvane Dr Crokes A team emerged victorious with a 1 point victory. Dr Crokes were very impressive in the first half and Nathan Cronin found the net following a strong run. Then following a superb Matthew Moynihan pass Liam Hennigan with a clinical finish extended the lead. Noah Sexton scored a terrific angled point on the run to give Crokes a 2 point lead.
Impressive defending from Gearoid Sugrue,Adam Byrne and Dara Griffin combined with the superb midfield displays of Neil O Carroll and Mike Murphy. Excellent saves from Mark o Carroll maintained our lead before a long range free from his brother Neil found the net to extend our lead. Ciaran Boyne replaced the hard working Antoan Donchev and Ciaran won an amount of ball in the full forward position. With heroic defending,we held on for a fully deserved 1 point win. The full team played well on the night,but the man of the match award goes jointly to impressive defender Gearoid Sugrue and goal scorer turned defender on the night Nathan Cronin. Missing on the night were: Oisin O Sullivan and Leah Mc Mahon. Leah was  sick and we wish Leah a speedy recovery. We also wish our impressive midfielder all the best on his trip to Germany.
