The death has been announced of former player and member of the Dr Crokes Club, Tom McCarthy, RIP. The details are as follows.

Beloved husband of Sheila and loving father of Thomas, Damien and Kevin. Very sadly missed and dearly loved by his family, daughter-in-law Caroline and Kevins partner Vanessa, his grandchildren Tadgh, Lorna, Daire and Alex, brothers John, Michael and Denis, sister Dorothy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Predeceased by his brother Patrick and sister Breda.

Reposing at O Shea's Funeral Home, Cathedral Place, Killarney on Tuesday evening from 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm. Removal at 6.30 pm on Tuesday evening to St Mary's Cathedral. Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 10.30am, burial afterwards in Aghadoe Cemetery, Killarney. Family flowers only by request, donations if desired to the Kerry Stars, Special Olympics

The club will be providing a Guard of Honour at both the removal on Tuesday evening and after the Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning. All members attending are requested to turn out in club colours.
