Played in tough conditions, these young lads were a joy to watch. Both teams battled very well throughout the 50 minutes and a share of the spoils in the end was a fair result. For Crokes, best on the night were Kieran Moloney in goal (a cousin of former senior No.1 David Moloney), who made some vital saves, Cathal Sugrue & Brian Titus in defence. Dara o Sullivan did well getting forward and in attack Ben Kelliher was our biggest threat throughout the night with 1-4 to his name. Special mention must go to Killian White who struck for a great poacher’s goal when introduced in the second half. Credit must be given again to both teams playing such good football in testing conditions.
