Dr Crokes U12A 1-13 Kilcummin U12A 1-13- Draw

Following a cracking contest between two evenly matched teams, an injury time point from Kilcummin earned the hosts a well deserved draw. Kilcummin started much better and were six points ahead at half time despite good defending from Adam Byrne and Anton Donchev and vital saves from Mark O Carroll. Crokes were a total different team in the second half and Neil O Carroll took over at midfield ably assisted by Leah Mc Mahon. Gearoid Sugrue and Dara Griffin defended much tighter in the second half and Matthew Moynihan stormed into the game with three points, ably assisted by Noah Sexton who scored two points and Liam Hennigan with three points.  Mikie Murphy scored a fine individual goal also. Oisin O'Sullivan worked hard when introduced. We thank Kilcummin for a fine sporting game played in difficult conditions and well refereed by John O'Neill. Next game v Rathmore away Thursday evening. On a night when everyone played well in the second half, man of the match has to go to outstanding midfielder Neil O'Carroll who scored  five points.
