Played in Ballymac the home side were left frustrated in the opening ten minutes of the game where a energetic Crokes team won the early exchanges. Ben Kelliher with a quick fire three points and a great goal put us ahead but Ballymac gathered pace slowly and clawed their way back into the game. At half time we were leading by two points but in the second half we weathered a massive storm from Ballymac and with 8 minutes to go the sides were level. Ballymac kicked on with 1-10 to finish the game really strong.

Best on night for Crokes amber team were Ben Kelliher, Kieran Moloney who made vital saves, and man of the match Cathal Sugrue who was a colossus in defence.
