Our under 16 team kicked off their season with the journey to Rathmore on Thursday evening for the first round of the East Kerry Division 1 League. In very difficult conditions and playing against a very strong wind in the first half the boys soaked up all of the early pressure with some great defending against a good Rathmore team. Dr Crokes were first to score, and led at half time by 1-2 to 0-0.

Weather conditions further deteriorated in the second half, and our boys maintained their control of the game, and further extended their lead, and went on to win the game on a score line of 2-5 to 0-0. A great team performance on the night and a good start to the year for the boys. We have a bye next week, and play Firies away on April 16th @ 7pm.
